Colloidal Gold For an Increased Sense of & Joy

Are you in for a Colloidal Gold Rush?

Colloidal Gold is SuperfoodBefore understanding what colloidal gold can do for you, it's helpful to understand what colloidal silver can do. Colloidal silver is capable of killing every kind of pathogenic organism such as yeast, fungus, viruses, or mold, on contact. It is used as a natural antibiotic. Colloidal gold can benefit our health tremendously as well but on a more metaphysical level. Gold helps stimulate serotonin, which is the primary neurotransmitter in all our cells. This creates our primary "stress defense shield" against metaphysical toxins. Examples of these are stresses, noise, worry, irritation from others, grief, etc. and this can definitely wear us down over time. But colloidal gold such as Gold Rush can lead to increased relaxation, peace, and an overall sense of well-being without the use of allopathic drugs. Chad Ashley Vandenburg, visionary founder of Elements for Life, actually created Gold Rush colloidal gold to alleviate his chronic body pain after a ski accident. He discovered that ancient civilizations would take gold coins and actually sew them into the bodies of those suffering from pain.

After creating and taking the colloidal gold on a regular basis and after discovering the power of raw foods and superfoods, he was able to release all of his pain and walk again. Chad testifies that he has experienced profound mental, emotional, and spiritual healing because of the Gold Rush. David Wolfe, the world's leading authority figure on raw foods, superfoods, and longevity technology, had his own experience with Gold Rush. His fans know that he is extremely particular about his drinking water and how it's packaged (he prefers it in glass bottles too). He was concerned about what water he would drink during his short stay in New York City. He met Chad at a party as Chad was getting started in marketing Gold Rush and bought a case from him.

David decided to drink the colloidal gold instead of water and found that he was full of energy and happiness and wasn't hungry at all until the evening each day. It was this experience with the product that made him decide to get started with Elements for Life as a distributor and ambassador of the company and its superfoods. Co-founder of the company, Adam Russel, has also shared about his experience with Gold Rush. Here is his story:

"The colloidal gold enriched my life in countless ways almost immediately. I recall after drinking 1/2 of my first bottle, my ability to concentrate, focus and retain information increased way beyond what I felt I had been capable of, especially being told I had A.D.D. my whole life. This was followed by intense dream recall and sharpening of my intuitive abilities, and an overall feeling of vitality."

Minerals such as gold are very broad-spectrum and seem to effect the entire mind-body complex in very positive ways. Due to the mineral depletion of our soil from commercial applications of agriculture we have far less of many crucial rare trace minerals and nutrients to experience our peak mental, emotional, and physical states of well-being. That is why is it so wonderful that we are now able to experience colloidal gold and experience the effects for ourselves. Everyone's body chemistry and lifestyle is different so those who take Gold Rush may experience benefits in different ways to different degrees.

Commonly reported subjective experiences and benefits claimed by those who use Gold Rush as a dietary supplement include an increased sense of optimism and motivation, an increased overall sense of well-being, and an increased sense of focus, concentration, and memory. It has also lead to deeper, more rejuvenating sleep and enhanced dream recall (this is most likely because serotonin is a precursor to lucid dreaming).

Other experiences and benefits include a sense of increased creativity and imagination, increased sense of mental clarity and acuity, a sense of increased yet calm and zen-like awareness, and an increased ability to cope with, or release, stress. Why Greens Are So Important For Your Health

People are talking and it seems that more and more people are looking for ways to extend their life. People lead very hectic lives and find it difficult to just try and get all of the nutrients they should be consuming.

Antioxidant greens are a vital element in the prevention of free radicals that can lead to cellular genetic damage. Think about dry wrinkled skin for a moment. What you are seeing is the damage done by free radicals.

The many benefits of greens to everyone’s health can be seen by examining the contents inside them. Just take a look at what’s inside this so called miracle food and you will likely be amazed at what’s inside.

Free radicals can not only cause your skin to appear prematurely aged, they can also contribute to more serious problems such as cancer, arthritis, heart disease and diabetes.

When a persons free radicals are at a minimum, a person will age more slowly. When a persons life lifestyle is out of control and full of stress, a person will tend to age more quickly. And when there is an excessive amount of free radicals within our bodies, we actually increase our chances for becoming sick, as in disease.

So just what are these greens all about anyway and how do they help promote good health? If you are sill wondering why greens are good for your health consider the fact that antioxidants have disease fighting properties that protect cells from damage by substances called free radicals. Antioxidants are able to do this by neutralizing free radicals that are formed when body cells burn oxygen for energy.

Antioxidants may also help keep the immune system healthy and reduce the risk for cancer and other diseases.

The antioxidants in greens are one of the many benefits of greens and are scientifically developed and tested. They were designed to contain the most powerful green foods that your body needs for optimal health.

So when people are not able to eat a wholesome organic diet that is filled with nutritious fruits and vegetables, these superfoods are the next best thing for many who just don’t have the time to eat all of the fresh fruits and vegetables they really should be eating.

There are many variations of these superfoods, as they are sometimes referred to. If you are looking for a premium superfood, keep in mind that a good greens drink product will not contain any fillers of any kind and will most certainly contain natural high quality ingredients that are going to be the most beneficial to your nutritional consumption.

Greens were developed as a way for people to get the proper nutrition that they fail to get on their own. They are green in color and they typically come in different flavors such as mint or berry.

The benefits of greens to your health are many. But a very important benefit is the fact that many do not contain any additives such as soy, wheat, dairy, or preservatives, all of which can be harmful to some. They are also great for those who have a weakened immune system because they help aid digestion and contain probiotics which help with a healthy intestinal flora.

Other benefits of these superfoods include the following:

Alkalizes your body: By alkalizing your body, you are helping your body to better ward off infections or diseases.

Balances your PH: By balancing your PH, your body is much more able to work efficiently.

Energy: Many people believe that by getting proper nutrition, they just feel better. And with the proper nutrients, people tend to feel that they have more energy.

Weight Loss: Greens have been known to help many shed weight. Greens are known to help curb cravings for unhealthy food because they not only fill people up, they provide a great deal of nutrients.

Greens are also safe to use with prescriptions, which make them even more popular.

Let’s face it, many of us try to get all of the recommended vegetable and fruit servings. But with even the best of anyone’s intentions, very few individuals are ever able to get the allotted amount each and every day. Busy schedules usually prevent our good intentions which is why these superfoods are an absolutely important natural health supplementation to anyone’s diet.

When searching for greens, look for something that is not only nutritious, but great tasting, easy to mix, and always look for certified organic whole food and plant extracts, which are the most beneficial to your good health.

Another helpful tip to find the best superfood is to consider how much antioxidant power you are rally getting. Some superfoods contain a very small amount of antioxidants. Look for a number that equals the antioxidant power equal to 20 servings of fruits and vegetables in every serving.

Many people who consume these organic green plants, and antioxidants contained within greens, say that the benefits are well worth it. Free radicals can damage cells and lead to disease and greens help prevent the damage brought on by free radicals.

Other great benefits to taking greens are the super blend of vitamins, digestive enzymes, natural food concentrates, and symbiotic intestinal flora that provide maximum energy.

Greens have also been known to help improve a persons weight management as they help increase metabolism through increased fat burning. It does not take long for many to see the positive results that these superfoods have such as a reduction in food cravings.

Superfoods and Why They Are So Popular Today

There is no question about the popularity of superfoods. For the benefit of those who have yet to get to know what superfoods are, they are the whole foods which are enriched with vitamins, minerals, and a lot of health motivating properties. For a product to be named as such, it must contain a wide spectrum of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients, and a lot other factors. There are several names of products that claim they are the best superfoods and one among which is the Brazilian acai.

The Brazilian acai is deeply set back in the rainforest of the Amazon region. The acai goes with the scientific name of Euterpe Oleracea. The fruit appears to be small in size, round in shape, and then dark purplish in color. The Brazilian acai bears lesser pulp yet a bigger seed. Others often mistake it for the grape fruit only that it is smaller and then darker as compared to it. This type of medicinal plant has piqued the interest of the experts as well as it has warmed the hearts of numerous people who are emphatically concerned with their well being. Others may not be totally convinced but once you get to know the amazing effects that the berry possesses, you would likely end up craving for your own chance to give it a try.

The following are the benefits that the Brazilian acai as a superfood is able to furnish its users.

The Brazilian acai berry enhances the metabolism process in a natural manner. When the metabolism process is improved, it would mean that weight loss is on its way to please you.

The toxins need to be flushed out of the body and this could be better done with the aid of a superfood product that boasts of its efficiency. The body toxins are wastes that could promote problems related to fat loss, bloating, gas, and the maintenance of sufficient energy levels.

The immune system is that which shields the body against diseases and infections. Therefore, as the immune system is improved, you lessen the chances of your body succumbing to illnesses and your metabolism further boosted to get on with its weight loss scheme.

Apart from the enhancement of the immune system as well as the metabolism process, the Brazilian acai similarly does a great job in stabilizing the circulation of the blood within the body. When there is proper circulation, the skin would become healthier and younger looking.

More than ever, the acai could fight against the cancerous cells that thrive within the body.

There are a lot other significant advantages that can be rooted from the Brazilian acai berry and thereby the products which are crafted out of this fruit are deemed to be useful and healthy options for many people.

A lot other superfood products have been conceptualized with the use of the Brazilian acai berry. Among of which are in the forms of energy drinks, ice cream, energy bars, juices, and pills. Whatever the type of superfood product it is, the fact remains that the benefits of the acai are very much significant and popular.

What Are Superfoods and Why Are They So Important?

The Health Benefits of Superfoods

Nutrient Rich Raw Food is Healthy FoodIt has become hard these days to get all the necessary  nutrients our body needs in the normal food we eat every day. With the steadily increasing selection of fast food burger and fish shops, and restaurants serving huge portions of not very healthy food, it's hard to get your head on straight and eat the right things. Even though it is very important for your health to get the right nutrition in your daily diet, it's hard to know what exactly those right foods are. Let me tell you something about Superfoods and explain the difference between 'normal food' and Superfoods.

Your body and your mind need a certain amount and combination of nutrients to function at the highest possible level. You usally get these nutrients by eating food, but here is the catch; not all food provides the same nutrition. Some foods are better than others. Some foods are even bad for your health, and eating them can increase your risks for diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabetis and more. Some foods will give you good energy and the nutrients you need. And then there are the best foods which are extraordinary rich in nutrients; these foods are called superfoods. These superfoods contain various substances such as minerals, antioxidants and enzymes. We need to have theses substances because they have shown to improve our overall health and reduce the risk of getting sick. We don't need to get all of the diseases that plague people all over the civilized world today, we just need to eat the right foods.

We define disease as an impairment of health by a condition of the body or mind that causes dysfunction. We can define health as a condition of the body that is free from disease. If you eat food that is unhealthy for you and doesn't contain the nutrients you need, it can lead to malnutrition. If you have malnutrition, you may not even notice it but it could lead to disease or great risk for disease.

Superfoods are especially good for you because they are so rich in the minerals and nutrients that your body needs. Since they also contain substances that have been proven to improve your health, they have a huge impact to your general health. There are so many benefits to eating Superfoods that there really is no excuse not to work them into your daily diet. Superfoods contain compounds such as omega-3 fatty acids, monounsaturated fats, phytochemicals (natural chemicals found in plants) and dietary fiber. All Superfoods have been clinically tested and the health claims have been proven.

If you add just a few Superfoods to your diet you can improve your health by a lot. You will keep your heart healthy, boost your immune system to stay free of illness, find that you can lose weight easier, keep from getting diabetes, and prevent certain types of cancer and so much more. Keeping Superfoods in your diet will allow you to age much easier without all of the little health bumps in the road.

If your diet consists of eating too many calories and unhealthy foods, you run the risk of becoming obese. When you eat bad foods, they may also provide you with the nutrients you need, but will also do damage to your body at the same time. Eating bad foods once in awhile will not do any damage, but if you make a routine out of it, eventually the ill effects will begin to surface. If you stick to Superfoods then your body will get all of the nutrients it needs without the extra calories and unhealthy ingredients.

Kevin Gianni Interviews Happy Oasis about her Favorite Superfoods

Happy Oasis, founder the Raw Spirit Festival Inc, shares her favorite superfoods

Kevin: Sara says you really inspired her on the Rawkathon. She wants to know, you talked about foraging food but what do you eat? Do you fix it yourself? Is it simple? Is it gourmet? What’s daily fare?

Happy: Well, first of all, thank you Sara. You inspire me. I love this mirroring of inspiration because it always encourages me to go on. I have the option to just go back and be a hermit. I’m so content like that. So thank you, Sara.

What do I eat? Well, I try to be versatile. However I’m more or less pretty much raw vegan. I’ll say 99 percent raw vegan. Once in a while I will eat something else but it’s so rare that I can’t even remember the last time I had something else. This morning I had juice. I’m home so I had some carrot, apple, celery. Then I went into the garden. We grow a garden here four seasons. I’m up in the mountains but I put a piece of plastic over our garden. I raise it up a little bit in the winter. We also have a sun room. That sun room is part living area and part indoor raised bed gardens. So we have lounge chairs, a French dining table and we also have these vegetables growing. I love to grow greens. In Arizona by the time the greens get here they can be a week old. So I ate some parsley and cilantro. Almost everything I eat in the green category is from the garden here. Our garden is just lush right now. I love arugula. It’s one of my favorites. I love the mustard family. Chard sometimes, and lots of spinach in the winter. I’m not so into lettuce because I like the dark, leafy greens for their nutritional value even more. Then after the juice – oh, a little bit of ginger and lemon in it. Sometimes I’ll throw a couple tablespoons of spirulina in there. I’m pretty simple.

I’m really into fresh fruits. I usually only eat locally, as much as possible, and fresh, organic. I go to the farmer’s markets. I went to the farmer’s market in California three days ago and ate [indecipherable] and some blood oranges that had just come off of somebody’s tree.

Then there are these potluck celebrations which have more complex foods. However this digestive tract is other than able to digest gourmet foods with a lot of ease because of so many years of eating wild, edible plants and mono foods. If you know what I mean. Just like eating one cucumber. One of my favorite meals or snacks is just to eat a cucumber. Sometimes for my teeth I’ll just eat celery or a big carrot. I love beets as well.

Then in the tropics, I just came from a couple of months in Hawaii, I was having coconut every day, fresh coconut right off the tree. It would plunk down in the middle of the night. You can hear the avocados falling down on the ground, as well, at night. I go easy on bananas. I really try to avoid those. But coconut every day. Papaya. In the tropics it’s really easy to eat too much fruit so I try to start my day with salad. I used to be diabetic. And then try to end my day with a salad. Then I have fruit in between as my snacks. That’s it. Pretty simple.

I almost never eat dried fruit. I don’t do any raisins, Gobi berries, dates, or any of that because of the diabetes and also I find it very dehydrating and more difficult to digest. I also go easy on the nuts. I try to eat a lot more olives and avocados for my main source of fat. And flax seed oil and olive oil.

I’m pre-superfoods. I’ve been raw vegan for 14 years. The word “superfood” I’d never heard of. They kind of came in as this big fad. This has been going on for a few years. In the long run the superfoods are great and it’s really about fresh, organic produce and sprouting your own mung beans and other sprouts and your own garden and foraging. That’s really the sustainable, long-term diet of the millennia.

Kevin: Right. It makes a lot of sense. Gail does ask, “What is your favorite superfood?” So I imagine that even though you’re pre-superfood I’m sure that you’ve eaten a few of them. What would be your favorite one?

Happy: I would say my favorite superfood is loving kindness. It just feeds me. When people are really loving and kind and funny. When people are really hilarious, it just giggles me forth and it gives me so much energy. I love affection. I love to hug people and be hugged. And just living in nature is the finest superfood. But on that level that I know what you’re talking about, I would say spirulina. I do use, because I travel a lot, Jameth Sheridan’s Healthforce Nutritionals. He has this VitaMineral Green which seems to be a really nice blend. Sometimes I just put a couple tablespoons in water. I’m not gourmet, please understand. That will just do it for me. I eat to live. I don’t live to eat. People are sometimes shocked that I’m not a gourmet chef. I leave that to other people. I love the gourmet food on very occasional occasions.

Superfoods, I eat dulse. Dulse is wonderful. Sometimes nori sheets. But I don’t really take anything out of a bottle personally. However, if those people are in transition or they feel that they’re even busier than I am and they prefer eating out of a bottle then more power to them. However for me and for my budget, because I have a non-profit salary, so for my budget and for my vitality I just love fresh greens and fresh fruits.

Is Acai Really the Best Superfood?

What is a superfood?

Acai Berries Grow on Palm Trees in BrazilYou sure have heard about superfoods, and maybe even which foods are considered to be “super”. Today we’ll look into why these foods are considered super and which of them you should include in your daily diet.

A superfood is a food that has a very high phytonutrient content that many believe benefits a person’s health in a significant way. It’s believed that including a variety of superfoods in the daily diet can improve the immune system, ward off diseases like cancer, help the body age more smoothly and help the body fight fat.

Supefoods will usually contain a good mix of nutrients, including Vitamins A and C and other essentials like protein and fiber. The best superfoods are those that contain a healthy mix of these things so that the food can provide a solid helping of beneficial nutrients in one serving.

Some of the most famous superfoods include:

  • Blue-Green Algae
  • Green Tea
  • Goji Berries
  • Mangosteen
  • Oregano
  • Spinach
  • Acai Berries
  • Turmeric
  • Blueberries

As an example, blueberries contain fiber, antioxidants, Vitamin C and manganese but regardless of your knowledge about superfoods, you’ll want to include Acai Berries and Goji Berries into your superfood mix.

What is Acai and why is it a superfood?

Acai is a berry that’s found primarily in the rainforest regions of Brazil. It’s a dark blue berry that grows on palm trees in Brazil, the locals eat it fresh, or in smoothies. They also eat it with granola or yogurt and even make ice cream out of it. Depending on the region, the fruit might be used in sweet or salty confections, and new uses are being found for it each day.

The nutritional content of the acai berry is varied and beneficial. It is considered to be a superfood because it contains an essential mix of nutrients that a superfood must have. The acai fruit has an enormous high concentration of antioxidants (more than 100,000 ORAC * units per 100 gram), which is the highest concentration on antioxidants in an edible fruit known so far.  Acai Berries also contain a good amount of fiber, a small amount of fat and protein.

Acai Berries are a rather new addition to the long line of antioxidant rich health foods that are considered superfoods today. Currently, for those of us who don’t live in Brazil and don’t have easy access to the berry, there are many options. These include drinking a juice blend that contains acai (or acai berry that’s offered as is), freeze dried acai berries are by far the best choice as they contain the most of the antioxidants and the nutriton after they are packed.

Daily more superfoods are discovered and it is very likely that there will be soon more fruits and greens for us to add into our daily diet.

* ORAC = Oxygen radical absorbance capacity – The measurement for Antioxidants which kill Free Radicals in our system. Free Radicals are the main cause for our aging process.

Superfoods – Ten Reasons to Eat Superfoods

Hippocrates said 2400 years ago:

Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food!

Nature provided us with everything we need in order for our bodies to remain healthy. Superfoods are very rich in nutrients and here are ten reasons to include them in your diet:

  1. With the modern day food industry refining natural foods to such an extent that they have the nutrients refined out them, very many people have diets far removed from what nature intended and are therefore deplete in essential nutrients.
  2. Superfoods can be less expensive than refined ready made and packaged foods to be found in the supermarkets. So called superfoods do not have to be the exotic and/or more expensive fruit and vegetables, which may have been imported from afar, that appear on many lists. They may be foods found closer to home such as peppers of all colors, sprouts, tomatoes, carrots, broccoli.
  3. Superfoods are colorful, tasty and full of texture and are therefore more satisfying. Part of the feeling of ‘having had enough’ or satiated is due to the experience of the actual eating itself and of the different textures and colors of the food. People are likely to eat less of the highly calorific and refined foods and therefore less likely to put on weight.
  4. Many superfoods produce an alkaline ash in the body which is much healthier for the individual. The body needs to maintain a slightly alkaline pH in order to stay healthy. A more acidic body is prone to inflammation, degenerative diseases, loss of skeletal calcium and gaining weight.
  5. Including superfoods in a balanced and varied diet may enable you to actually lose weight. Superfoods are ‘nutrient dense’ and it has been shown that people who consume the most nutrient dense diets may lose weight the easiest. This is likely to be because in this case, people are not eating so many highly calorific foods which are also relatively empty in nutrients.
  6. Eating superfoods is likely to bring back a balanced way of eating, reducing cravings and bingeing on refined, sugary foods. This will stabilize the blood glucose levels and reduce the possibility of adult onset diabetes.
  7. The majority of superfoods are low in fat and therefore calories, and so help with calorie controlled eating and weight loss.
  8. Also they generally have quite a high fiber content and as well has helping with weight loss they help the digestive system to function well and speed up transit time of the alimentary canal contents
  9. Superfoods combine phytonutrients – vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and adaptogens vital for health. Eg. they may reduce the risk of cancer, lower blood pressure and even improve eyesight.
  10. Superfoods boost your immune system and help you to fight off infections and diseases.

I hope that these top ten reasons to eat superfoods will encourage you to learn more about them and to include them in your daily eating.

What Are Superfoods and Why You Need Them?

Antioxidants and Superfoods

Vitamin C Antioxidant Illustration

Vitamin C Antioxidant

With the entire craze about what to eat and what not to eat, what are superfoods is a question going through the minds of many people in the world today. The guardian newspaper reports that the term “superfoods” was coined in the 1990s to define a specific group of foods that were though to benefit the body, tremendously. Such foods range from the exotic types such as spirulina, wheatgrass and alfa alfa and others like beans, beetroot and broccoli fall in the prosaic category.

With time, the list of superfoods has been growing, as research explores more food possibilities. Watercress was for example added to the list due to its antioxidants properties. Fish, specifically tuna, mackerel and salmon preferably wild also make the list of superfoods, as is the case with tomatoes garlic blueberries, carrots, olive oil and red wine. To say the least, the question “what are superfoods?” cannot be answered definitively because the list keeps growing by the day and for different reasons too!

Fish made it to the superfoods list due to omega 3 fatty acids present in it, while blueberries provide the body with vitamin C. Brazil nuts on the other hand are said to have plenty of selenium, while Carrots have beta-carotene. Tomatoes are laden with lycopene goodness, while olive oil is said to have anti-inflammatory properties.

Different Antioxidant Compounds Foods containing high levels of these Antioxidants

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
Vitamin E (tocopherols, tocotrienols) Vegetable Oils
Polyphenolic antioxidants (resveratrol, flavonoids) Tea, Coffee, Soy, Fruits, Olive Oil, Chocolate, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Oregano, Turmeric and Red wine
Carotenoids (lycopene, carotenes, lutein) Fruits, Vegetables and Eggs

Superfoods are said to have health benefits, which range from preventing cancer, heart disease, improving one’s sporting abilities, enhancing one’s appearance to improving IQ. Though dieticians and nutritionists highly doubt some of the things said about superfoods, there is little doubt that including them in one’s diet is worthwhile. Some people still wonder what are superfoods’ goodness that people cannot substitute them with some of the nutritional supplements in the market today. The truth is, more people enjoy eating more than they do swallowing pills.

More so, the superfoods concept encourages people to eat more unprocessed vitamins and minerals thus reducing the tendency of consuming dead vitamins. When consumed in their raw states, the body easily absorbs them, thus providing it with the necessary nutrients required to fight disease and maintain health. One of the qualms that nutritionists have with the superfoods concept is that it advances some foods more than others, and can therefore lead people to a lifestyle where some of the essential foods in the human diet are neglected. Their advice to the general populace is that people should eat everything in moderation. More to this, people should ensure that they eat a variety of foods in order to get the maximum nutritional benefits that one can get from foods. Overall, the wise thing is to include the superfoods as part of one’s diet, rather than making them all one eats. A little tea, a little spinach, potatoes, beans and some oil, will no doubt make a good meal.
