Valuable Organic Superfood Tips

Eat organic Superfoods for better healthIf you are looking for a way to increase your vitality and longevity; then there are several options that are open to you. Some of these options entail eating the right foods so that your body can receive some vital nutrients that it needs.

Unfortunately, the modern life style of living has caused humans to adapt an unhealthy style of feeding, as unnatural and processed foods are eaten in great quantities all over the world. None of these foods that you eat such as pizza, hamburger, taco, burrito, frozen TV Dinners, fried fish, fried chicken, BBQ steak etc are equipped to give your body the elements that it needs.

Moreover, your body will also be damaged in the long term with the bombardment of these unnatural and processed foods. Although the human body is a well designed machine, due to processed foods, your body will lose its equilibrium and thus your immune system and your endocrine system will be affected to a great extent. As a result, you will end up worrying about diseases such as cancer. Hence, although the life span of humans has increased compared to 5000 years ago, the quality of health has decreased considerably.

As a result, each generation becomes weaker and weaker with various complaints and health problems. However, by eating natural and organic super foods that are specially selected; you will be able to get the trace minerals and the special anti oxidants that your body needs to maintain its health equilibrium (on its daily chemical and biological processes).

Unfortunately, the types of soil as well as the type of foods that are available today do not contain the necessary trace elements that are needed by your body. These trace elements include selenium, Germanium, Molybdenum, Platinum, Zinc, Chromium, Titanium and even silver and gold. Hence, as a result, your body will feel fatigued and will become ill due to the fact that these elements are missing from your diet.

Your best option is to consume organic and raw superfoods regularly, so that you will be able to compensate for your daily nutritional habits. Some superfoods that you can eat include Marine Phytoplankton, Peruvian Maca, Raw Cacao, Goji Berries, and even Colloidal gold and Colloidal silver. However, the best way to consume these foods is to consume them regularly and to mix them with your daily food.

You can either buy them or consume them like smoothies or you can mix them in your juice as a tonic. In some cases, you can sprinkle them on your foods and salads for a raw and solid consumption. However, for best results, experts recommend that you eat your superfoods in raw form as much as possible for maximum benefit to your body. In addition, you should also alter your lifestyle, so that you will be able to live a more healthier life.

Benefits of Eating Superfoods

Superfoods are various types of foods that are good for your body. Whether you are an avid athlete or are someone who is simply trying to eat better, consuming food that is healthy for you will benefit you overall. Examples of these foods include things such as fresh fruits and vegetables. Studies have shown that eating a variety of raw fruits and vegetables can help prevent certain diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. However, it should be noted that you cannot simply eat superfoods by themselves. Rather, a diet that consists of both healthy eating as well as plenty of exercise and rest are ideal for a long, healthy life.

To go about eating superfoods, you should first begin by considering your current diet. What sorts of foods are you eating now? Does your diet consist of mostly carbohydrates in the form of rice, pasta and breads? On an average day, how many servings of vegetables are you consuming? For instance, you should be getting at least five to ten servings of fruits and vegetables a day. To give you an idea of what this would look like, one orange is equal to one serving of fruit. In order to make things a little bit easier so that we could get all of our fruit and vegetable servings, my boyfriend and I invested a very small amount of money into purchasing a juicer. The juicer has been a godsend in terms of making eating healthier both easy and fun.

For ideas on juicing recipes, simply look some up online or come up with your own. My personal favorite includes a juice recipe of four to five organic carrots, a small serving of fresh ginger, kale leaves and three apples. In this one juice, I am already getting over half of my daily intake of fruits and veggies, and it didn’t cost me that much or take that much time to do! For many people, juicing makes eating their vegetables and fruits more palatable. However, for some of us, we prefer to eat our fruits and veggies raw. For example, veggies and fruits make great snacks for in between meals- plus they are super healthy! Some examples include things such as grape tomatoes, baby carrots, blueberries, a few apple slices or even a few cuts of celery. Even something as small as an orange makes a great snack that is both incredibly filling as well as nutritious.

One of the benefits to eating fruits and vegetable is that they fill you up. Because these foods are nutrient rich and often dense in fiber, you often feel full after just a little snack. As we all know, fiber is great for digestion as well as improving your overall weight. If you are looking to improve your diet or if you are trying to lose weight in a healthy way, try to make sure that the ratio of raw fruits and vegetables is higher than the ratio of processed foods, starches and grains that you consume. Combine this with sufficient sleep and a little exercise, and you’ll be on your way to a more healthful you.

1. Low GI Diet.

The Glycemic Index Diet focuses on decreasing the amount of blood sugar in your body. The typical diet today consists of a lot of highly processed foods which break down into sugar. Sugar the body cannot use to regenerate itself or assist in maintaining the healthy skin. 3. Dr Perricone's Diet.

Touted as a wrinkle cure diet and a natural facelift diet, this diet is high in antioxidants and the essential fatty oils necessary to facilitate good skin health. Both the Perricone Diet and the 28 day Perricone diet contain Super foods which fuel the body making it more energized and healthy. The diet rich in needed nutrients helps the body to regenerate itself leading to a natural face lift without the benefits of creams or surgical procedures.

Balancing the amount of the right carbohydrates, fat, fiber and proteins is a cornerstone to this diet. Weight Loss Strategies

It’s logic that no one in their right mind would make a conscious decision for being extra heavy, would you?. There are no real benefits for being fat. Being heavy carries so many impractical implications with it that it just can’t be all that much fun.

Chubbiness also restricts general movement of the body. Being flabby makes you feel lethargic, even lazy, but it can certainly encourage you to eat even more of the wrong foods that have got you there in the first place. Comparatively, many obese people do not believe they look as good as they could do and some even develop a dislike or maybe a hate for their own body. Tubbiness certainly doesn’t make you feel as good as you could feel, and some say it even dampens your sex life. But more importantly it increases your risk of ill health – and of that there’s no doubt. It is even believed to reduce your life span. There is an abundance of medical evidence to prove this is so, and the effects of obesity will now be so bad that some believe that a great many of our children of today can be the first generation never to outlive their parents. The truth is hard but simple – being flabby and obese encumbers our lives in so many ways…So why can we allow this to happen, why can we do that to ourselves?

So we now sit in the course of an corpulence epidemic and in reality, no one really wants to be or has chosen to get heavy or obese. And that is despite over 200 million websites of eating habits plans, diet regime pills and diet regime potions. And then there’s the authority suggestion, the medical advice, the recommendation of nutritionists and untold food intake companies – all unusually wanting to take your custom. So what isn’t working? We only have to take in the moment and pause…look around us to see that something is obviously very very wrong. And do the government want it for being so? I don’t believe so, as heaviness costs our nation billions of dollars a year. It is perhaps more the case that they are not really sure of how to tackle this self inflicted epidemic, which is second only to smoking in the stakes of measurable loss of life.

So why? Why do we intentionally inflict this self induced ‘illness’ upon ourselves? Incredibly, despite the fact we know which foods we must always eat, we know which foods are good for us and we know which are the ‘badies’. But despite all this, we still eat too much and too much of the wrong stuff. We still self inflict the misery of obesity upon ourselves.

If a close friend appeared for being alarmed and severe in telling you that the food you were almost to eat, contained the deadly poison arsenic in it, your natural reaction that i see to stop ‘dead in your tracks’ or at the least hesitate to confirm. Are they kidding? Do they mean it? And that could be our dilemma in a nut shell. We don’t experience an immediate or real threat to our lives when we are eating what is deemed to get food that is certainly ‘bad’ for us. Some processed foods, most fast foods and all junk foods. we are accustomed to eating it and our ‘egos’ accepts it and therefore there is no threat to our instinctive survival mechanisms. Our primeval instinct to survive does not ‘see’ eating as a threat to life itself. we are natural eating ‘machines’. And so if our ‘egos’ accepts it – we do.

Is there an option to do nothing as an individual? Can we allow to wait for the miracle ‘diet regime drug’ to stem our appetite? Only you can decide. But would you want to be on ‘diet drugs’ for the rest of your life – day in day out drug dependent just for the sake of…eating? Experts say most would not and it almost sounds ludicrous to even consider the option. There is another method…and that could be to go back to basics.

We have existed on this planet for well over 2,000,000 years and for 99.5 percent of the time we survived well as the hunter and gatherer, and proudly became head of the food chain. No, I’m not suggesting in any shape or form that we must go back to living a ‘cave man’ life style, (even though it would probably be healthier!), but I am suggesting we must learn from our genetic inheritance. It is suggested that 99% of our nutritional genes have remained unchanged over that humongous period of time, and yet our diet in the last 50 years has changed beyond all recognition. Totally.

Who are we, apart from just mere mortals to ever think we are able to dictate to ‘Mother Nature’ in providing today’s diet regime, when man’s body has changed and mutated over million years of evolution to accept what is now thought being a much narrower range of ‘acceptable foods’. Our body is doing and saying what it has always done over hundreds and thousands of generations before us, and yet we elect not to listen. We choose to ignore the signs and believe “I’ll be alright”. Our ancestors left us a heritage of which we must be proud – but sadly we are failing to leave anything like as comparable.

For now, obesity still remains a matter of choice…but choice means a decision.

Learn How Green Super Foods Can Improve Your Health

Superfoods can give your body the nutrient rich diet it needs to be healthy!

Nutrient Cycle in the Ocean Graphic Illustration

The Western diet at times is so nutritionally poor that the reality is that we are starving our body of what it needs to perform. The soil in which our food grows is becoming depleted, nutrient levels are lower than they were years ago. Plus, with all the man-made additives, preservatives and colorings in our foods we are placing so much stress put on our system as our body struggles to deal with these toxins – which can lead to the common illness problems of fatigue and obesity as well as more serious illnesses.

Let’s tell the truth here; we all have our weaknesses, we eat the wrong stuff most of the time and we don’t exercise enough, if at all. But what are the alternatives? Well I think that green superfoods can be at least a major part of the solution.

Superfoods, coming from the land or from the sea, are the most nutritionally rich foods available – they are packed full of vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids and phytonutrients *. The green superfoods are so called due to their high chlorophyll content. Chlorophyll has blood cleansing properties and is thought to help rid your body of some of the toxins caused by our western diet.

Other key benefits are that they can act as an energy booster, helping us with stamina to get through our busy lives and by strengthening our immune systems.

Once our body has received and been satisfied with the nutrients it needs to function it will stop craving for additional food.

Below is a brief synopsis of three green superfoods:

Wheatgrass is fantastic for your overall health through its cleansing and detoxifying properties. It can really help improve a sluggish digestive system, leaving you feeling refreshed and more energetic.

Chlorella is great for boosting the immune system and can really help with a detox program. Its ability to grab hold of toxins and remove them from your system can leave you feeling cleaner inside.

Spirulina, which is a microscopic blue green algae, is bursting full of protein and can really help to improve our stamina levels. It is becoming a lot more popular with athletes and gym-goers who find it improves their performance.

I hope my article will help more people to understand superfoods and in particular how they may reduce cravings for processed foods. Ultimately we all have a choice about what we put into our bodies, but as mentioned at the beginning of the article, you can’t expect your body to function properly if you fuel it with the wrong type of food.
